Titanium mesh is mainly used for screening and filtering under acidic and alkaline conditions or for gas, liquid filtration, and other media separation. Titanium mesh can be used in high-temperature resistant filter mesh, shipbuilding, military manufacturing, chemical filter mesh, mechanical filter element, electromagnetic shielding mesh, seawater desalination filter mesh, high-temperature electric furnace heat treatment support mesh, petroleum filter mesh, food processing, pharmaceutical filtration, and other industries.
Titanium mesh is mainly used for screening and filtering in acidic and alkaline environments or for gas, liquid filtration, and other media separation. The main weaving methods are plain weave, twill weave, dense weave, and mat-type twill weave. Since it is difficult to draw titanium wire, the thinnest titanium wire can currently be 0.05mm. The elongation of titanium wire is low, the strength is high, the elasticity is high, and the flexibility is low. This greatly limits the production of high-mesh titanium mesh. The specifications of titanium mesh are 1 mesh-400 mesh.
Plain weave titanium mesh
It is the most common weaving method, and its main feature is that the density of the warp and weft wire diameters is the same.
Twill Titanium Mesh
The titanium wire used in twill titanium mesh is thicker than the wire diameter of the general plain weave, and the woven mesh strength will be greater. It is suitable for petroleum, chemical, chemical fiber, aerospace, and other industries. It has good acid resistance, alkali resistance, high-temperature resistance, strong tensile strength, and strong wear resistance.
Titanium dense mesh
Plain weave pure titanium dense mesh, twill weave pure titanium dense mesh performance: has stable and fine filtering performance. Application: used in aerospace, petroleum, chemical, and other industries.
Mat-type twill woven titanium mesh
Each radial titanium wire crosses above and below every 2 weft titanium wires, and each weft titanium wire crosses above and below every 2 radial titanium wires. The woven mesh is stronger and has good wear resistance. It can withstand greater pressure and friction, is not easy to damage, and has a long service life.
The characteristics of titanium mesh’s strong corrosion resistance
In the corrosion-resistant medium environment, high-purity titanium mesh forms a dense, highly adhesive, and inert oxide film on the surface, which produces a passivation phenomenon and protects the titanium mesh substrate from corrosion, thereby achieving strong corrosion resistance; especially in the following use environments, the corrosion resistance is even better, such as seawater, wet chlorine, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric acid, chromic acid metal chlorides, and organic salts (for example 60% nitric acid, the corrosion rate of pure titanium mesh in nitric acid solution is only 0.001mm.a-1); titanium mesh replaces traditional applicable materials with excellent corrosion resistance, such as nickel-free stainless steel mesh, aluminum mesh, and other metal materials. Pure titanium mesh has a long service life and safe and reliable operation.
Applications
Titanium mesh can be used in high-temperature resistant filters, shipbuilding, military manufacturing, chemical filters, mechanical filter elements, electromagnetic shielding nets, seawater desalination filters, high-temperature electric furnace heat treatment support nets, petroleum filters, food processing, pharmaceutical filtration, and other industries.
