Platinum-iridium radiopaque markers

The performance requirements for this purpose of the material itself are biocompatibility and radiopaque, high precision is also required. Common applications include radiopaque marking, ring electrodes, cardiac rhythm management devices, stents, and angioplasty. It is suitable for radiopaque markers during angioplasty and other minimally invasive catheter procedures.

Our marker bands are manufactured in platinum iridium alloy (Pt90/Ir10), gold, and pure tantalum. They are cut into lengths, down to 0.25mm according to clients’ demands. Different technologies are engaged during processing (drawing, cutting, surface treatment) to guarantee high precision and a burr-free finish. Common applications for marker bands include radiopaque marking, ring electrodes, cardiac rhythm management devices, stents, and angioplasty.
