A tungsten copper alloy tube is an alloy composed of tungsten and copper. The copper content of the commonly used alloy is 10% to 50%. The alloy is made by powder metallurgy and has good electrical and thermal conductivity, good high-temperature strength, and certain plasticity. Therefore, tungsten copper alloy tubes are widely used.
1. Resistance welding electrode: It combines the advantages of tungsten and copper, is resistant to high temperature, and arc erosion, has high strength, high specific gravity, good electrical and thermal conductivity, is easy to cut, and has sweating and cooling characteristics. Due to the high hardness, high melting point, and anti-adhesion characteristics of tungsten, tungsten copper alloy tubes are often used as projection welding and butt welding electrodes with certain wear resistance and high-temperature resistance.
2. Electric spark electrode: When the mold made of tungsten steel and high temperature resistant superhard alloy needs to be electro-etched, the ordinary electrode has large loss and slow speed, while tungsten copper has high electro-corrosion speed, low loss rate, precise electrode shape, and excellent processing performance. Tungsten copper alloy tubes can ensure that the accuracy of the processed parts is greatly improved.
3. High-voltage discharge tube electrode: When the high-voltage vacuum discharge tube is working, the contact material will increase the temperature by several thousand degrees Celsius in a few tenths of a second, and the tungsten-copper alloy tube’s anti-ablation performance, high toughness, good electrical and thermal conductivity provide the necessary conditions for the stable operation of the discharge tube.
The above are some of the uses of tungsten-copper alloy tubes. Of course, the application of tungsten-copper alloy tubes is not limited to this. If you want to improve the efficiency of your enterprise and encounter bottlenecks, please feel free to discuss with us.
